A tireless patient advocate, Dr. Miller leverages greater than 15 years of experience, a deep fund of knowledge, and an unsurpassed work ethic to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Dr. Miller has outstanding endoscopic skills, specializing in upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Miller consults for a broad range of patients drawn from throughout the tri-state area, treating patients with a broad range of GI conditions. He is a valued clinical resource for regional gastroenterologists, who refer him to patients suffering from particularly challenging complications of gastrointestinal diseases. Dr. Miller enjoys a reputation an excellent teacher of endoscopy and clinical gastroenterology at The Icahn School of Medicine, where he is a Clinical Instructor. Dr. Miller has also advanced knowledge in clinical gastroenterology through numerous important research contributions published in leading peer-reviewed journals. He has special interest in expertise in the contributions of endoscopy to the management of obesity. Dr. Miller completed his undergraduate degree at Cornell University and his medical degree at New York University School of Medicine where he graduated with highest honors. He then received his internship and residency in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School Beth Israel Hospital. Dr. Miller also completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center where he won the Hope Babette Tang Research Fellowship. For many years, he was on the Board of Directors of the Digestive Disease Research Foundation. Board-certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology, Dr. Miller speaks to professional audiences both nationally and internationally.
