NYGA's Tamara Freuman, MS, RD, CDN, to Speak at the 2025 AGA Diet, Nutrition, and Gut Microbiome Symposium

New York Gastroenterology Associates (NYGA) is proud to announce that Tamara Freuman, MS, RD, CDN, one of our expert dietitians specializing in medical nutrition therapy for gastrointestinal disorders, has been invited to present at the prestigious Diet, Nutrition, and Gut Microbiome Satellite Symposium of the Gut Microbiota for Health (GMFH) World Summit. The symposium, hosted by the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) in collaboration with the European Society for Neurogastroenterology and Motility, will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, in Washington, D.C.
 
Tamara will deliver a presentation titled, "How to Talk with Patients: Interpreting Dietary Recommendations to Facilitate Durable Behavior Shifts", during Workshop 1: Restrictive or Balancing Diet and Symptoms. Her session is scheduled for 2:40 p.m. Eastern Time. Tamara will share practical strategies and insights for healthcare professionals to guide patients in translating dietary recommendations into sustainable, long-term behavior changes that support digestive health.
 
The symposium precedes the 13th annual GMFH World Summit and is expected to attract more than 200 healthcare professionals, including dietitians, gastroenterologists, and allied health professionals, both in person and online. This year’s program will explore cutting-edge research and practical applications in diet, nutrition, and the gut microbiome.
