We are delighted to announce that the Brooklyn-based gastroenterology practice of Dr. William Erber, MD, and Dr. Jonathan Erber, MD, has joined NYGA.
A third-generation medical practice initially founded by Dr. William Erber’s father, it has been based on Ocean Parkway in the Kensington neighborhood of Brooklyn for over 75 years. They have recently expanded to Greenpoint.
Dr. Jonathan Erber will continue seeing patients at both the Ocean Parkway and Greenpoint offices. He will conduct procedures at The Endoscopy Center of New York. Dr. Jonathan Erber completed his medical degree at Tel Aviv University, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a gastroenterology fellowship at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.
With more than 50 years of experience, Dr. William Erber will continue providing patient care at the Ocean Parkway office. Dr. William Erber completed his medical degree at the Chicago Medical School, followed by an internship and residency in internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center and a gastroenterology fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is the author of "Lessons from the Gut: A 50-year Journey," which offers insights into his career.
