We are excited to announce that Manhattan GI Associates – Paulo Pacheco, M.D., Carl McDougall, M.D., Yasmin Metz, M.D., and their staff – has joined NYGA, effective January 1, 2025.
They will continue to practice at 60 East 56th Street, between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue, and perform endoscopy procedures at Manhattan Endoscopy Center and their affiliated hospitals.
Dr. Pacheco completed his GI fellowship and residency at Cornell after graduating from Brown’s medical school. He is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at NYU Langone and teaches at NYU Langone and Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Pacheco is also the author of Living with Chronic Heartburn and has been featured as a gastrointestinal health expert in numerous media outlets.
Dr. McDougall completed his GI fellowship at Cornell after completing his residency at Montefiore and graduating from Cornell’s medical school. He is an associate attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian and an associate clinical professor of medicine at Cornell. Dr. McDougall has published extensively and previously held leadership roles in gastrointestinal cancer screening programs.
Dr. Metz completed her GI fellowship and residency at Cornell after graduating from Brown’s medical school. She also did visiting fellowships at Temple University in GI motility and at Leiden University in the Netherlands focusing on personalized IBD care. Dr. Metz is an attending physician at NYU Langone and Lenox Hill Hospital.
